Elevfloor is the raised floor that can be easily inserted in any work environment, such as a meeting room, an EDP room,
an office area or an auditorium.
Today, computers and office lay-outs are becoming increasingly sophisticated to keep pace with both the advanced
technology of work and information systems, and the improved organisation of modern, dynamic companies.
Elevfloor is the technological answer from Oddicini Industrie S.p.A. that can solve the problem with flexibility, shorter installation times and low costs.
Installing Elevfloor you create a new space with the same surface as the room where the interventions take place, while the height is defined by the designer according to his needs. Inside the air space the plants are placed directly on the subfloor or, in the restoration, on the existing floor. The plants can be installed at different heights to obtain different locations, thus allowing an easy inspection. At the end of the installation, in order to make an inspection, it’s enough to remove the raised floor panels with a special suction lifter.
The modular floor panels ELEVFLOOR, dimension 600 X 600 mm, are composed of:
core, surface covering as trample surface, bottom covering (when foreseen) and a
perimeter edge. l Panels core can be in high density particular board or calcium sulfate conglomerate l high density particular board conglomerate and thermo setting resins (700 kg/m3) guarantee good mechanical properties and a bigger
easiness during the installation
due to the contained weight. l calcium sulfate conglomerate reinforced by fibres with density 1500 kg/m3 assures an excellent performance of fire resistance,
high mechanical properties,a big resistance to the humidity and a good sound absorption. l The surface covering represents the aesthetics of the raised floor and so it has to join functionality and design. For this reason ELEFLOOR raised floor has a wide range of finishing based on products on the market and grants a big choice to the client
that can personalize his floor.
Covering materials are: high pressure laminates,pvc,linoleum, rubber, fine wood, ceramic, marble, recomposed stone, carpet, glass etc..
l The bottom covering materials can be primer, aluminium sheet, PVC foil thickness 0,05 mm, zinc plated steel sheet or zinc plated steel box thickness 0,5 mm and 0,8 mm.
l The perimeter edge is in self-extinguishing plastic material thickness 0,6 mm, usually black colour but on request it can be personalized choosing between various colours and matching it with the floor finishing material. The edge is applied on the four sides in order to assure a better impact resistance and a damp-proofing protecting the panel
from the outside excepted the panels with stone finishing. l The surface and bottom coverings are assembled to the core using glue in water with special co-polymers and
hardener without solvents.The perimeter edge is fixed through thermo fusibility glue.
ELEVFLOOR raised floor foresees three types of structure: EC, 8/40G and EVO, all the structures are in zinc coated steel. The structures and the relevant stringers, completing and making stiff the structure, allow to realize various layouts overcoming the bonds derived from ventilation pipes and electrical equipment. The combinations are innumerable starting from 4,5 cm as minimum height to over 150 cm.
EC-ST and EC-L STRUCTURES
EC-ST structure without stringers or EC-L with stringers is composed of: a zinc coated steel circular base plate diameter 95 mm and a pipe diameter 20 mm x 2 mm thickness, the base plate has special holes and ribs that will guarantee a better glue adhesion to the traditional floor.
The zinc coated steel square head plate dim. 90 X 90 mm and 2,5 mm thickness which a threaded bar M16 is fixed on; the threaded bar is supplied with an adjusting nut that allows fastening and height regulation.
The head plate is complete of a gasket in plastic material placed on the top.
EC-L structure has,in addition to the pedestal,vertical,horizontal or diagonal stringers spring inserted or, on request, fixed by screws,that improve the stiffness and the resistance of the structure.
Two kinds of stringer are available issued from ribbed profiles, stringer type “L” 18 mm or type “M” 35 mm height, thickness from 8/10 to 10/10 of mm.
The stringers are supplied with an anti-static thermoplastic gasket in order to improve raised floor sound-proofing.
The earthing of the structure may be carried out by connecting some perimeter points already prearranged to the earth network.
8/40G structure is composed of: a zinc coated steel circular base plate diameter 95 mm and a pipe diameter 20 mm x 2 mm thickness, also in this case the base plate has special holes and ribs that will guarantee a better glue adhesion to the traditional floor. The zinc coated steel square head plate dim. 110 X 110 mm and 3 mm thickness which a threaded bar M16 is fixed on; the threaded bar is supplied with an adjusting nut that allows fastening and height regulation. The special shape of this head allows a hermetic fixing of the horizontal stringers by screws. These stringers are made of zinc coated plate Zenzimir Z200 1 mm thick, issued from the cutting of a profile dim. 50 X 25 mm and supplied in the following measures 550 mm the transverse ones
and 1800 mm the longitudinal ones. The stringers are supplied with suitable adhesive gasket in order to improve raised floor sound-proofing. The earthing of the structure may be carried out by connecting some perimeter points already prearranged to the earth network.
EVO 30 STRUCTURE
The new EVO 30 structure with the special regulation pedestal (with a very narrow base) and the tubular stringer allows better technical performances, an easier and faster installation together with a higher flexibility of raised floor scheme. EVO 30 ST structure without stringers and EVO 30 with stringers is composed of: a zinc coated steel circular base plate diameter 70 mm allowing an easier fitting both on irregular floor and against perimeter walls and a pipe diameter 40 X 1,2 mm thickness with a length going from 40 mm to 800 mm. An anti-vibrating plastic ring is placed on the top of the base that simplifies the coupling with the head and allows a minimum adjusting of 0,125 mm, acting also as a gasket between the two metal elements without interrupting the electrical conductivity. The zinc coated steel head is cold pressed or shaped with a thread M30 pitch 1,5 mm and supplied with a height regulation nut. EVO 30 structure is completed by zinc coated stringers which join the pedestals,giving more stability and resistance to the structure and by the screws of the heads guarantee the electrical conductivity. The tubular stringers are shaped with external dimensions 20 X 20 mm,
thickness type L 0,5 mm, type M 0,9 mm and type H 1,5 mm, lengths between 300 and 1400 mm. The special tubular shape and the fixing system to the pedestal let use
stringers without gasket which is in any case available if requested.
