Carpenter Assistant

Collaborate with carpenters to help mark and measure materials according to specifications.

Assist in handling materials, cutting, sanding using hand tools and machinery in the workshop. (This may involve measuring and cutting).

Assist carpenters in various construction tasks such as framing, cutting, nailing, drilling, and installing fixtures.

Be open to learning from experienced carpenters, understanding new techniques, and improving skills to become more proficient in carpentry work.

Undertaking any additional duties within the carpentry trade as required.

Very good knowledge of English both written and spoken and preferably also Maltese.

Have a clean police conduct.

Previous experience in the carpentry field will be considered an asset but not required.

Be able to work under pressure and to meet deadlines.

Have good organisational skills.

Have a can-do attitude and be a team player.

Resides or willing to reside in Gozo.
