The Assistant Storekeeper is responsible for receiving, inspecting, and documenting incoming goods, managing inventory accuracy through regular stocktaking and internal systems, and coordinating deliveries and returns. The role involves collaborating with departments for timely order fulfillment and organizing warehouse space for optimal storage conditions.
Assistant Storekeeper
Receive and inspect incoming goods, ensuring accurate documentation.
Track, document, and address any discrepancies in received orders.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely fulfillment of customer orders.
Conduct regular stocktaking to identify discrepancies and update records accordingly.
Utilize the internal application for inventory control and monitoring store stock.
Monitor stock delivered/returned from project sites and issue delivery notes.
Handle packing, labelling, and coordinate deliveries/returns with delivery personnel.
Organize warehouse storage space and ensure that goods are stored in a clean and dry place.
Fulfill additional responsibilities as directed by the company.
Prior experience in a similar role would be considered an asset.
Hold a minimum educational qualification at MQF Level 3 or equivalent.
Familiar with MS applications, particularly Excel and Outlook.
Hold a valid driving license.
Competent in operating a forklift
Be able to work in a team.
Must have a good eye for detail.
Able to lift boxes and other materials to a maximum of 25 kg.
Well-organized and self-disciplined.
Preferably fluent in Maltese.
