Reporting to the Commercial & Operations Manager, the Commercial Sales Executive will be responsible
for identifying and developing sales opportunities within the Commercial and Industrial sectors. This role
requires a proactive approach to networking, client engagement, and project tracking to drive sales growth.
The selected candidate will play a key role in promoting our product range, managing client relationships,
and ensuring seamless execution of sales transactions.

Duties:

Networking and identifying projects within the Commercial and Industrial sector to promote the Company’s product range and generate sales opportunities.

Providing prospective customers with information about the characteristics and functions of the proposed products, demonstrating their qualities, use and benefits.

Prepare and present quotations, ensuring that pricing, discounts, and special terms receive prior approval from the Commercial Manager before being issued.

Obtaining and updating knowledge of market conditions of employer’s and competitors’ products and services.

Submit detailed sales reports to management, including customer feedback, market insights, and sales performance updates.

Following up with clients to ensure their satisfaction with products and tend to further requirements.

Compile the required paperwork for the completion of the secured sales orders secured.

Assist in debt collection in accordance with the company’s credit terms and policies, seeking prior approval from the Commercial Manager before making any payment arrangements or exceptions.

Engage with industry professionals, including architects, contractors, and project managers, to build strong business relationships.

Undertake any additional duties as assigned by management to support business growth and operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

Possess an education level of MQF 4 or higher.

2 to 3 years’ experience in sales of building materials, finishes or similar.

Have strong organisational and time management skills.

Have a good command of Microsoft Office applications and preferable SIMS Inventory software.

Be self-motivated, proactive and work independently and as part of a team.

Possess a local or locally recognise Category B driving license.

Possess strong verbal communication skills in Maltese and English.

Possess a clean police conduct.
